Thank you to everyone who attended the community consultation on June 20, 2023, to discuss the proposed 44-storey building, totaling 440 units. Your comments are greatly appreciated. The application will be reviewed by City Divisions, and Planning will work with the applicant to address any issues and reflect on the feedback received by the community. All-Way Stop Controls at Janray Drive and Chandler Drive
Traffic Operations has conducted a feasibility review of implementing all-way stop controls at the intersection of Janray Drive and Chandler Drive (north intersection). Based on their assessment and considering the presence of vulnerable road users crossing at this intersection, it is recommended to install all-way stop controls. The warrant criteria have been met, and this measure will enhance safety for all road users. Transportation staff will present this item at the Scarborough Community Council meeting on June 27, 2023. The installation of the all-way stop has been approved.

Parking Amendment on Jutten Court
Transportation Services has recommended the approval of a parking prohibition for Jutten Court, which will prohibit parking around the outer perimeter of the Jutten Court cul-de-sac island. This addition complements the existing parking prohibition around the outside of the court and improves vehicle movements along the street. Transportation staff presented this item at the Scarborough Community Council meeting on May 18th, and it was adopted for installation. The signs will be installed once utility locates are completed.
