This recommendation was presented at the Scarborough Community Council meeting on June 27, 2023. The decision was made to install the all-way stop. Additionally, there have been changes to the parking regulations in the vicinity of this intersection:
Kingston and Lawrence Pedestrian Safety and Infrastructure Improvement Project
I have received information that the completion of this project has been delayed due to unexpected conflicts with underground infrastructure and required changes to the traffic signal design. These factors have hindered the progress of sidewalk and curb construction by the contractor. The project is now expected to be completed by the end of July, provided there are no further unforeseen issues. Road signage will be updated accordingly.
