A Safer Kingston Road Complete Street Project
The City of Toronto is proposing changes to Kingston Road, from Cliffside Drive to Scarborough Golf Club Road. These changes would make the street a safer, more attractive place to be and to travel. Grant Faulkner Park Update
A preferred design for the playground has been posted on the project webpage, based on feedback from the team received. Construction on this new park is expected to start in summer 2026 and be completed by Fall 2026. The updated timeline can be found on the project webpage at toronto.ca/320MarkhamPark.
Soccer for All mini-pitch proceeding at Scarborough Village Park
In advance of the FIFA World Cup 2026 taking place in Toronto, the City is creating more opportunities for people of all ages to play, learn and connect through sport! This fall, the City will begin construction on three new soccer mini-pitches, including one at Scarborough Village Park (23 Gatesview Ave).
