A Safer Kingston Road Complete Street Project

Grant Faulkner Park Update
A preferred design for the playground has been posted on the project webpage, based on feedback from the team received.  Construction on this new park is expected to start in summer 2026 and be completed by Fall 2026. Soccer for All mini-pitch proceeding at Scarborough Village Park
In advance of the FIFA World Cup 2026 taking place in Toronto, the City is creating more opportunities for people of all ages to play, learn and connect through sport! This fall, the City will begin construction on three new soccer mini-pitches, including one at Scarborough Village Park (23 Gatesview Ave).

The mini-pitches are expected to open in June 2026 and will be designed to be safe, inclusive and accessible.  More information about this initiative is available on the project website toronto.ca/SoccerforAll
