Cornell Park Lighting
Parks Development are in the process of securing the contractor. The work is to take place this year with the anticipated completion to end of year, depending on light fixtures and poles lead times. The Contractor will be providing dates for mobilization and project delivery as soon as the Purchase Order is issued.

Graffiti in Cornell Park
I have received reports regarding graffiti in Cornell Park. We have promptly notified the Parks Supervisor to address this issue and requested its removal. Parks staff are currently working on removing the graffiti.

Benches at the Cornell Park Playground
Several residents have expressed the need for additional benches around the playground at Cornell Park. In response, Parks staff will be removing the three older benches currently in the park. These benches pose a safety concern for tobogganing and basketball activities. Instead, five new Riverside benches and concrete bench pads will be installed. This work is scheduled to take place after the end of the school year, towards the end of June or early July.
