Watermain Replacement on Brimorton Drive: Markham Road to Scarborough Golf Club Road
The City of Toronto has completed the watermain replacement work on Brimorton Dr from Markham Rd to Scarborough Golf Club Rd. Weather permitting, the permanent restoration phase will commence in Spring 2020, which will include curb repairs, sod restoration, and road resurfacing. In order to facilitate the remaining work, there will be ongoing local lane closures along the street when the work resumes in Spring 2020. This project's expected end date is June 2020. Road Resurfacing on Helicon Gate
The concrete work on Helicon Gate has been completed however contractors will need to return in 2020 to complete asphalt work. The Contractor has been reminded to remove all construction signage and pylons. An updated notice will be delivered to residents of the status of the project. Project completion is expected for next year.
Toronto Hydro Overhead & Underground Civil & Electrical Upgrade: Project Markham –Ellesmere Road
Toronto Hydro is planning to rebuild the aging electrical system which includes the replacement of the existing electrical cables and hydro poles within the city-owned property.
Work Area: The project area includes Ellesmere Road (North), Gander Drive (East), Clementine Square (South), and Markham Road (West). Expected timeline: January 2020 to February 2020. See letter here.
Toronto Hydro Reliability Improvement – Project Bellamy-Lawrence
Toronto Hydro is planning to rebuild the aging overhead and underground electrical system in the community to help improve service reliability. The project started in May 2019, with an updated expected completion date of January 2020. Find more details here.
