Washed Ashore – Art to Save the Sea
Washed Ashore – Art to Save the Sea is Toronto Zoo’s NEW temporary exhibit from May to November 2019! This unique exhibit educates about the negative and devastating effects of plastic pollution and aims to spark positive changes in consumer habits. This aesthetically powerful art installation is built completely from plastics found in oceans and waterways around the world. City of Toronto celebrating National Indigenous History Month throughout June
Toronto History Museums announce a month-long series of programs for National Indigenous History Month in June, giving residents an opportunity to celebrate the heritage, contributions and cultures of Indigenous peoples in Canada.
Activities at Toronto History Museums will include The Moccasin Identifier Project, a Traditional Medicine Walk, a Summer Solstice celebration, Indigenous culinary experiences, and the launch of a new Indigenous Curriculum for the museum's education program.
