Annual New Year's Celebration:I would like to invite you to attend my annual New Year's Celebration taking place on Saturday January 6 at Cedar Ridge Creative Centre located at 255 Confederation Road.

City of Toronto exhibits reveals the lives of Canadian First World War soldiers
The Mackenzie House is presenting Eaton's Goes to War: Family, Memory & Meaning from September 21, 2017 to January 31, 2018. This exhibit reveals the lives of Eaton's employees who served in the First World War. The display is part of the City's TO Canada with Love Canada 150 program.

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting at the Scarborough Civic Centre
The City of Toronto is hosting a free, family-friendly Christmas tree lighting ceremony in the rotunda of the Scarborough Civic Centre on Friday, December 1. Councillor Chin Lee (Ward 41 Scarborough-Rouge River) will act as Master of Ceremonies for this event that will feature photos with Santa (bring your own camera), free arts and crafts for kids, free ice skating (weather permitting), and a performance by the Toronto Children's Concert Choir & Performing Arts Company.

Time: 7 to 9 p.m.
Location: Scarborough Civic Centre, 150 Borough Dr

Cost(per child): $40 Zoo Member, $50 Non-Member
Additional siblings are half price
Parents, drop off your kids for a fun day at the zoo while you finish up your holiday shopping. Your child's day will be a wild mix of zoo tours, an animal encounter, a visit to our giant pandas, crafts, games and a festive afternoon with snacks and treats. What a great way to fill a winter weekend. Please note: please provide your child with a nut free morning snack and lunch.

The department of Arts, Culture and Media presents U of T Scarborough music ensembles performing classical and contemporary works. The evening features the UTSC Concert Band, Concert Choir and String Orchestra. Admission is free.

This exhibit features ceramic sculptures and works on paper, produced both individually and collaboratively, by seven contemporary artists. Opening reception is on Sunday November 5 from 2 to 5pm and features and exhibition tour at 3 pm, led by the curators. https://goo.gl/PmRRoa
