Toronto is in the Grey-Lockdown<\/u> level of restrictions in the <\/strong>Keeping Ontario Safe and Open Framework<\/strong><\/a> – From November 23 to December 21. <\/strong>Please stay home as much as possible, except for essential trips for groceries, healthcare, childcare, school and work. Remember to practicephysical distancing<\/a>, washing your hands as often as possible and wear a mask or face covering<\/a>. December 17 & 18 Pop-up Assessment Centres details are available below:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n City of Toronto COVID-19 Case Update:<\/strong> (Data as of December 13, 2020)<\/em> There has been an increase of 638 COVID-19 cases<\/strong> in the City of Toronto. There are 288 people currently hospitalized. <\/strong>Through the pandemic the City of Toronto has seen a total of 49,236 cases of COVID-19<\/strong>, of these, 42,294 cases have recovered<\/strong>. To this date, there have been 1,717 COVID-19 deaths<\/strong> in Toronto, an increase of 4 fatal case since the day before. Case status data can be found on the City\u2019s reporting platform<\/a>. The site will give youth a place to love for three to twelve months, depending on need, with an option to extend their stay after the first year. More information can be read in the news release.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Toronto History Museums launces Awakenings program, <\/strong>a virtual series of art projects by Black, Indigenous and artists of colour. Awakenings is a new program that will feature art projects that explore untold stores, awaken a new perspective and invite the public to join the conversation. The series is part of the City of Toronto\u2019s efforts to address anti-Black racism and will be released over the next couple of years. More information can be read in the news release.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The City of Toronto released its 2018 Greenhouse Gas Inventory, which tracks Toronto\u2019s progress towards greenhouse gas reduction targets and identifies key emissions sources. <\/strong>The City confirmed it is on track to exceed its 2020 target of a 30 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. TransformTO is the City\u2019s long-range strategy to reduce GHG emissions to help address climate change.
