It is very important that we all follow the <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/home\/covid-19\/covid-19-protect-yourself-others\/covid-19-stay-reduce-virus-spread\/?accordion=physical-distancing\">mandatory physical distancing bylaw<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/home\/covid-19\/covid-19-what-you-should-do\/covid-19-orders-directives-by-laws\/mandatory-mask-or-face-covering-bylaw\/\">mandatory mask or face covering bylaw<\/a>! Please take a moment to complete my <a href=\"http:\/\/paulainslie.com\/Paul-Ainslie-Survey.html\">COVID-19 Information Survey<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New COVID-19 Provincial Announcement on lowering limits for unmonitored and private social across ENTIRE PROVINCE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ontario government is reducing limits on the number of people permitted to attend unmonitored and private social gatherings across the entire province. This includes functions, parties, dinners, gatherings, BBQs or wedding receptions held in private residences, backyards, parks and other recreational areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the amended order will set a new limit on the number of people allowed to attend an unmonitored social gathering or organized public event to these <strong>New Measures<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>10 people at an indoor event or gathering (previous limit of 50); or<\/li><li>25 people at an outdoor event or gathering with physical distancing (previous limit of 100).For more information please read the <a href=\"https:\/\/news.ontario.ca\/en\/release\/58449\/ontario-limits-the-size-of-unmonitored-and-private-social-gatherings-across-entire-province\">news release.<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>COVID-19 Notification for NOIR inside REBEL Entertainment Complex on September 11<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toronto Public Health (TPH) is notifying patrons and staff who visited <strong>NOIR inside REBEL Entertainment Complex<\/strong>, located at 11 Polson Street, <strong>on September 11, 2020 between 10:30 p.m. and 2 a.m<\/strong>., about a potential exposure to COVID-19.&nbsp;TPH is following up with all known close contacts based on the information provided in the contact tracing logs for staff and patrons. These individuals will be instructed to self-isolate for 14 days and to go for testing. More information can be read in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/news\/covid-19-notification-for-noir-inside-rebel-entertainment-complex-on-september-11\/\">news release.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Toronto residents can show love to Toronto by becoming tourists in their own neighbourhood with StrollTO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting this weekend, residents can participate in StrollTO, part of the City of Toronto&#8217;s ShowLoveTO initiative. StrollTO will feature self-guided itineraries for each of the City&#8217;s 25 wards to encourage residents to actively discover shops, stops, places and spaces on their local main streets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using the StrollTO itineraries, residents can become tourists in their own city as they stroll through Toronto\u2019s unique neighbourhoods. Each StrollTO itinerary will highlight points of interest that are culturally and historically significant with a spotlight on Indigenous placemaking and equity-seeking groups. StrollTO itineraries are available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seetorontonow.com\/explore-toronto\/strollto\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The City of Toronto unveils new Toronto Sign<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Friday, September 18, the City unveiled the new Toronto Sign on Nathan Phillips Square and its first wrap in recognition of the United Nations&#8217; International Decade for People of African Descent. A call for artists was issued in October 2019 and Danilo Deluxo McCallum&#8217;s design, Patterns of the People, was selected for the first wrap of the new Toronto Sign. More information can be read in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/news\/mayor-john-tory-unveils-new-toronto-sign-and-its-first-wrap-recognizing-the-united-nations-international-decade-for-people-of-african-descent\/\">news release.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>City of Toronto update on COVID-19 cases <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><u>The data posted to the City\u2019s reporting platform is update three times per week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.<\/u><\/em><strong><u><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of September 20, there were 17,712 cases of COVID-19 in the city, with 15,382 recovered cases from COVID-19. To date there have been 1,178 COVID-19 deaths in Toronto. COVID-19 case status data can be found on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/home\/covid-19\/covid-19-latest-city-of-toronto-news\/covid-19-status-of-cases-in-toronto\/\">City\u2019s reporting platform<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scarborough Ribfest Drive Thru<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This year\u2019s Scarborough Ribfest will be a Drive Thru event taking place on Saturday September 26 and Sunday September 27 from 11 am to 8 pm at the Centennial College Progress Campus.&nbsp; This is a drive-thru event only. No one will be allowed to exit their vehicles and no pedestrian traffic will be admitted.
