In particular, I have been asked what people should do with used medical masks and gloves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Collection of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/services-payments\/recycling-organics-garbage\/houses\/what-goes-in-my-garbage-bin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">garbage<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/services-payments\/recycling-organics-garbage\/houses\/what-goes-in-my-blue-bin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Blue Bin<\/a>&nbsp;(recycling),&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/services-payments\/recycling-organics-garbage\/houses\/what-goes-in-my-green-bin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Green Bin<\/a>&nbsp;(organics),\nand oversized and metal items is not impacted and will continue as scheduled.<\/li><li>All personal\nhygiene\/sanitary products, including tissues, wipes, masks and gloves should be\ndisposed of in the garbage.<\/li><li>Please ensure that\nall material placed in garbage bins is bagged, specifically cleaning products\nsuch as wipes, tissues\/napkins and other sanitary\/hygiene products.<\/li><li>Bins should only be\nplaced out for collection if they are full.<\/li><li>Garbage Tags are\nstill required for excess garbage\/bag-only collection and can be bought&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/secure.toronto.ca\/webapps\/swmWebStore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">online<\/a>&nbsp;and mailed to\nyour home.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Suspended Services<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure health and safety, support the continued functioning of Solid\nWaste Management Services\u2019 operations and allow for physical distancing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Seasonal&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/services-payments\/recycling-organics-garbage\/houses\/yard-waste\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">yard waste&nbsp;<\/a>collection\nis suspended. Residents are asked to store yard waste on their property until\nthe service resumes.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/services-payments\/recycling-organics-garbage\/drop-off-depots\/locations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Drop-Off Depots<\/a>&nbsp;(Transfer\nStations) are closed to the general public. Garbage, recycling, organics and\nyard waste from residents will not be accepted. Only those with an existing\nregistered account can continue to bring material to Drop-off Depots (Transfer\nStations). No new account requests will be processed at this time. Drop-Off\nDepots will not operate on Saturdays.<\/li><li>Toxic Taxi services\nand&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/services-payments\/recycling-organics-garbage\/household-hazardous-waste\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Household\nHazardous Waste<\/a>&nbsp;(HHW) drop-off are suspended. Hazardous waste\nshould be safely stored until services resume.<\/li><li>Bin deliveries and\nbin exchanges are suspended.
