This review is due to the changing nature\nand number of existing businesses and licence categories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This review includes the review of Vehicles-for-Hire bylaw, Payday\nlending, licensing requirements for Bars, Restaurants and Nightclubs, Body Rub\nParlours (BRP) and Holistic Centres bylaw. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this moment the City of Toronto would like to hear from its\nresidents regarding the Vehicles-for-Hire Bylaw and Body Rub Parlours and\nHolistic Centres Bylaw. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vehicles-for-Hire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Current Licensing of Vehicles-for-Hire Bylaw provides\nregulations for taxicabs, limousines and private transportation companies\n(PTCs), such as Facedrive, Lyft and Uber. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paulainslie.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/uber_lyft.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-402\" width=\"326\" height=\"183\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\" src=\"https:\/\/paulainslie.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/taxi.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-401\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a number of ways you can be involved and help shape\npolicy: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Attend public\nconsultations <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be nine public consultations held between March 4 and\nMarch 19. Each meeting will focus on a particular area of the Vehicle-for-Hire\nBylaw. Click open the Get Involved in Your\nCommunity Section, type in your email address and scroll down to select\nVehicle-for-Hire Review. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Body Rube Parlours (BRP) and Holistic Centres<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Body Rub Parlours (BRP) and Holistic Centres Bylaw Review is\nto update the licensing bylaw, to promote public health and safety. Provide the\nCity with your feedback and help shape policy by: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Attend Public\nConsultations <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be four public consultations held between March 5 and\nMarch 19. The first will be held for the general public, second for Etobicoke,\nthird for Scarborough-Agincourt and fourth for University Rosedale. Find the\nPublic Consultation Schedule <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/community-people\/get-involved\/public-consultations\/#item\/606\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Witten\nConsultations <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit feedback to <a href=\"mailto:mlsconsultations@toronto.ca\">mlsconsultations@toronto.ca<\/a>\nby March 20, 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stakeholder\nMeetings <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will also be five stakeholder meetings held between March 4\nand March 14 to consult different stakeholders governed by the bylaw.
