Please review the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/home\/covid-19\/covid-19-protect-yourself-others\/covid-19-vaccines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">City of Toronto\u2019s COVID-19 Vaccines webpage<\/a>, to inform yourself of the benefits of vaccination.<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reminders for when booking your second dose: <\/strong>A \u201cmixed mRNA model\u201d \u2013 mixing Pfizer and Moderna for first and second dose \u2013 is approved by both the federal and provincial governments.The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are incredibly similar with near identical efficacy rates. Both vaccines have similar side effects. People are encouraged to get whichever vaccine is easiest or fastest for them to access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, if you received a first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine you can choose to either receive a second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine, or an mRNA (Pfizer or Moderna) vaccine for your second dose.
