Please review the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/home\/covid-19\/covid-19-protect-yourself-others\/covid-19-vaccines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">City of Toronto\u2019s COVID-19 Vaccines webpage<\/a>, to inform yourself of the benefits of vaccination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I would like to thank everyone who tuned into last night\u2019s Scarborough-Guildwood Live Town Hall meeting! <\/strong>I would also like to thank my colleagues, Mitzie Hunter MPP, Hon. John McKay MP, and our special guest Dr. Jeffrey Schiffer, Executive Director of Native Child and Family Services of Toronto, for a very informative discussion about residential schools and the history and culture of Indigenous peoples. If you missed the live event, the full meeting is now live on my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/PaulAinslieWard24\">YouTube channel!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The City of Toronto will move into Step Two of the Province of Ontario\u2019s Roadmap to Reopen as of tomorrow, June 30 at 12:01am. <\/strong>The City has readied reopening amenities and is prepared to resume permitted services starting tomorrow morning. In Step Two, additional restrictions put in place to stop the spread of COVID-19 are being lifted. Small indoor gatherings of up to five people from different households are permitted and outdoor gathering limits increase to 25 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would like to encourage residents to review the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/home\/covid-19\/covid-19-reopening-recovery-rebuild\/covid-19-guide-for-toronto-residents\/\">City\u2019s COVID-19 Reopening Guide for Toronto Residents<\/a> for the latest public health guidance, provincial regulations, and City bylaws. A full list of Step Two changes can be found on the Province\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ontario.ca\/page\/reopening-ontario\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Reopening Ontario&nbsp;<\/a>&nbsp;webpage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>With Canada Day coming up, I would like to remind residents of firework rules in Toronto <\/strong>and that the City\u2019s bylaw enforcement officers and Toronto Police Service will continue to monitor heavily used parks and beaches and respond to issues related to fireworks. Fireworks are banned in parks and beaches and can only be set off on your own property without a permit on Victoria Day and Canada Day. Take the time to prepare, protect and prevent fireworks accidents.
