The Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) and The saveONenergy Home Assistance Program (HAP):
HAP provides energy efficiency upgrades (such as light bulbs, power bars, faucet aerators, appliances, draft-proofing and insulation) to income qualifying participants, free of charge, to help them manage their energy costs.
LEAP provides an emergency financial grant of up to $500 per year to eligible low-income households who have recently received a ‘past due’ bill and/or a disconnection notice from Toronto Hydro and are in arrears.
These programs are available all year long.
