The Reading Partnership (TRP) needs Volunteers:

will be running literacy programs for families with Pre-K and Kindergarten children at Ontario Early Years Centre (4218 Lawrence Ave. E) from Oct. 5th to Nov. 30th at 5:30-7:15pm, every Wednesday.

They are looking for volunteers that can fill interchangeable roles, depending on the Project Coordinator's needs. These roles include administration (take family attendances, help conduct learning assessments), space/location/food setup or prep, childminding, and program facilitation (engage with/oversee/explain program activities to children and parents). Volunteer orientation session will be on Wednesday Sept. 14th.

The Reading Partnership (TRP) is an interactive literacy‐building program that empowers parents with skills, knowledge, and resources to teach their children to read using a play-based curriculum. The program establishes supportive environments for parents in Scarborough East who face barriers engaging in their children’s learning.
